Well, at least for two dates next week.

Over at the PlanetCrimson.net forums, penston dropped in the news that Pat Mastelotto and Trey Gunn, as TU, will be opening for Tool for a pair of dates next week.

On May 21st, they’ll be in San Antonio, TX., at the AT&T Center, and then on May 22nd, they’ll be playing the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, TX. (Check with the venue before making any travel plans!)

Good stuff! This will be a great opportunity for Tool fans to get initiated by TU as the “rhythm buddies” open up those shows, and for TU, some great exposure to an otherwise unlikely audience!
