Very sad news to report from the US west coast that Ian Wallace died this morning due to complications from esophageal cancer.

Margie posted earlier today:

“It breaks my heart to tell you all that Ian left us this morning. He slept through the night and was, to my mind, very comfortable. He was still fighting I asked him to let go and fly away…and he did.”

To me, Ian was a warm, generous and kind hearted guy. The kind of guy you’d want to spend any amount of difficulty with, due to his spirit and zest. Ian will be missed by many, not the least of which, Margie, who was by him through thick and thin. A true hero and partner to him by anyone’s measure.
