Just imagine all that chocolate cake smooshed all over it’s face… isn’t it cute?
Yes, that’s right folks, DGMLive.com turned "one years old" today, and to celebrate, they’re giving us the presents, including a free live King Crimson album! How cool is that?
Today they’ve released two new items:
- King Crimson Live at Berkeley – August 13th, 1982 – FREE!!!
- Robert Fripp Soundscape Compilation – Evensong
Also in the news item is word that they are improving the already quite reasonable audio quality of their MP3 downloads from a standard 128kbps to a variable bitrate which ranges between 192-320kbps. This is in progress for the entire downloadable catalog, but these two items "kick off" the upgraded encoding format. For those into "better than MP3" lossless FLAC encoding, this is still available at a small premium.
