Boz Burrell, Dead at Age 60

Sid Smith reports over at DGMLive.com today that former King Crimson vocalist and bassist Raymond “Boz” Burrell passed away yesterday at his home in Spain from an undisclosed illness. (See the related news link HERE)

In addition to King Crimson, Boz was well known as a founding member of the band “[tag]Bad Company[/tag]“.

As a member of King Crimson, [tag]Boz Burrell[/tag] was originally drafted as vocalist, but when a bassist was needed and no other could do, Boz unleashed, under the instruction of [tag]Robert Fripp[/tag], wonderful untapped talents as a bass player which were brought into the forefront of his career as a musician.

Certainly our prayers and condolences are with his family during this difficult time.
