Shortly after the shocking loss of his long time engineer and friend, Ken Latchney, (See Adrian’s Corner for his tribute to Ken), the Adrian Belew Power Trio moves forward with the next phase of their tour.

There are currently 7 more dates scheduled, including tonight’s show at [tag]Buffalo Icon[/tag] in Buffalo, NY., all of which are on the east coast. The [tag]Adrian Belew Power Trio[/tag] consists of Rhino King himself, Adrian along with the amazing talents of 19 year old Eric Slick on drums, and 20 year old [tag]Julie Slick[/tag] on bass. All reports on brother and sister Slick have been incredibly positive, not withstanding their mother Robin Slick, who recently was able to attend a show.

Finally, some more exciting news that they’ll be hitting a pretty big venue, ([tag]Chastain Park[/tag]), with [tag]Bela Fleck[/tag] and the Flecktones in Atlanta, GA. on August 16th.
